Harison U.S.A., Inc., a Michigan Company, is merged into Pacific Industrial Components Corporation, a California Company, and the name subsequently changed to Harison Electric U.S.A., Inc.

4/30/97 - PICC announces plans to become QS9002 site certified by December 1997
Pacific Industrial Components Corporation (PICC) has announced plans to become QS9000 site certified as a distributor of Harison Electric products in North America. PICC's QS9000 audit will follow Harison's QS9000 audit in October 1997. This is one more example of PICC's committment to providing quality products to its customers.

1/10/97 - Harison announces ISO9001 approval
Harison Electric Company Ltd. of Imabari Japan has announced that Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance has granted ISO9001 approval to Harison. This ISO9001 certification follows less than twelve months after their original ISO9002 certification also by Lloyd's Register in February of 1996. These certifications show Harison's committment to quality and customer expectations. The next step for Harison will be to obtain QS9000 approval. An audit date has already been set for October 1997.
